Hey everyone; thought it would be cool to do a bit of a write up on one of our nation’s heroes and a dear friend to the DK bicycles family. A few weeks ago our good friend Chris “Skipper” Ransomer made a trip up to his home state of Ohio for the Redline Cup Finals. This proved to be a great weekend for Chris and DK Bicycles.
For a little background on Chris, he is an Equipment Operator Second Class/ Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy. He has served our country in many foreign lands including a year in Iraq, and numerous months in Cuba. His company also made the journey to Haiti to aid in the earthquake recovery effort. Chris has been an awesome friend to all of us and we want to let him know how much we appreciate his hard work and dedication to serving our nation.
However, back to the awesome job that he did pulling out the win for the overall title of Redline Cup Champion. He had a few hiccups that made him and all of us think that the Cup was just out of reach this time. However, Chris came through and had an awesome showing in his main event on Sunday bringing home the win and putting him ahead of the competition for the overall title.
Don’t let me forget to mention that Chris does an awesome job “reppin” the U.S.A. along with DK Bicycles while racing his bike. Chris is riding a white DK Professional frame along with white DK Race Forks and a fresh pair of Blue DK Sigma Bars. Chris has a red front wheel and blue rear wheel which really ties together his American themed bike. Thanks so much for all your support and for all you do for our country. Keep it movin Dozer!!
