Dew Tour, Alaska, and hot moves at a skate plaza.

Dew Tour Chicago is officially in the books and it was a wild one. It was held in Grant Park, smack dab in the middle of downtown Chicago. Brian Kachinsky lives in Chicago so he was busy like a Senator. Doing interviews, taking people around town, eating and making snort sounds. Check out this interview he did with Fuel Tv.

Any more questions for Brian? Here is your chance to ask him anything in the world. What does he have for breakfast? How many rails has he grinded? Go nuts.

Here are a couple pics from the Dew Tour.

And a wonderful Tuesday to you all. Here is a quick pic of the boys from Woodward. Brett Banasiewicz, Brian Hunt, Anthony Watkinson, and Catfish. Please notice the bike on top of the gazebo. That’s Catfishes. Some of the campers thought it would be funny to hide it from him. He was going crazy looking for it and eventually found it, after he saw this picture. ahhhhh camp life!

BK also was named as one of Ride Magazines top 10 riders to follow on Twitter

Nina sent in a rad update. She’s healed up and shredding:

Heyo, greetings from Cleveland! I just spent the last 2 months doing rehab for a dislocated shoulder. In the meantime I  built up a fixed gear bike and with the weather being so nice I couldn’t help but try to cruise around town with one arm. Ha! Now that I got a green light to ride the BMX with no shoulder brace, I’ve been riding some street in Cleveland, the dirt room at Ray’s, and the latest project a nearby pool :)  Here’s some pictures, happy summer, can’t wait for Denmark!!!!! xoxoxo

Hey Guys. Another update for the Ride BMX trip.  The trip has been amazing and there is still a few days left!  We have been riding 2-3 new cement parks a day.  We drove down the coast to shred the awesome parks Oregon has to offer.  There has been a few new additions to trip. KC Badger, Darren Reid and Tony Cardona jumped in the van.  We lost Dennis for a couple days due to other commitments he had. He’s flying back for the last few days of the trip. Which will be awesome. Mark and Mike Potoczny have been on a road trip for the last month around the northwest.  So they are tagging along also which is just making the trip even better.  Ryan Wert is also on the trip with them and if you haven’t heard of him before you will soon. The guy shreds hard! Yesterday we stopped at one of the sickest beaches I’ve ever been too. The whole crew was psyched. There was rocks that went over a hundred feet out into the water that every climbed out too. Caught massive starfish then had to try to make it back to Shore before the tide covered up the rocks.  Looking forward to the last few days of the trip. Hope all is well. See you in Chicago!

Maddog has landed.

From the desk of Catfish:

Brett B just got to DK. He’s filming edit for BNQT as I type this. The Osiris BMX team is here too filming for it.  The edit will be done in a couple weeks.  We are embarking on quite the journey today. We are heading out to Woodward east tonight to meet up with the rest of the DK crew. (Anthony Watkinson, Brian Hunt, and Drew Bezanson) We will be hanging out with campers and giving out some rad DK goodies. Be sure to check back for updates from one of the greatest places on earth! Woodward. We get back from Woodward and head up to Chicago for the BMX only Dew tour going down next weekend. After Dew tour we hop on a plane and head to Copenhagen, Denmark to meet up with the rest of the DK team for a roadtrip from Denmark to Cologne, Germany and the BMX Worlds! This is the 25th anniversary of the Worlds and it’s going to be a doozy. Check out these pics from 5 minutes ago of your favorite 14 year old BMXer.

Memorial for Colin

This is awesome.  It’s right outside of the JC Skatepark in Greenville, North Carolina. One of the biggest supporters of the park was a man named Wilbur Bennett, who recently passed away. He helped keep that skatepark awesome from new skatelite to lights and bleachers. Wilbur is also responsible for getting this memorial for Colin made. Rest in peace gentlemen.

Drew Bezanson update!

Drew checking in from Portland. He’s out there filming for the new Ride video. “Hey, what’s going on guys. I’m hanging out in Portland Oregon for the week. I got invited to go on a Ride BMX trip. The crew is a good one! The crew consists of Dennis Enarson, Tony Hamlin, Dave Dillewaard, Simon Tabron, Sergio Layos and me. It’s going to be a really awesome trip. Can’t wait to get on the go. Ridaz!”

DK/Labici China trip

Last month DK riders Brian Hunt and Drew Bezanson headed over to Shanghai China to meet up with Catfish for some fun times. They did tons of riding and even more culture shock. China is one of those most fun places on the planet. A huge thanks to all the local riders and especially Labici bike shop for their support. Here is 10 minutes of China, little bit of riding, little bit of culture, lots and lots of smiles. Filmed and edited by Catfish.
