A big high five goes out to our UK boy Anthony Watkinson who took home 6th place honors in Pro mini at the F.I.S.E contest this past weekend in France. Anthony was so excited to ride that he couldn’t wait for the ramps to get built.

This past weekend was also a wild one in Ohio. The ASA vert contest was going on and some riders came up to shred the DK ramps. Thanks to Dave Friemuth and Stevie McCan for coming out and shredding. The Levis team also came to shoot for an upcoming web video. Morgan Wade, Jeremiah Smith, and the Napolitan brothers all threw down. Â The ramps bit back when Anthony took a handlebar to the neck..he will be ok though. Thanks for riding ridaz!

The MidwestBMX video contest went down and the first video got posted. BK’s team came out with 6th place. Here is the video:

B Hunt is currently in Pittsburgh doing shows. He thinks he may or may not have broken his ankle. He doesn’t seem to let it bother him though as he is working the mic and riding the roller coasters. Here is B earlier in the week before the ankle issue.

BK is over in Switzerland right now. He sent this in. Also a huge congrats to BK for netting a first round invitation for street to the summer X-games in LA!!!
Hello from Switzerland! I’ve only been here for two short days but
it’s been great. Swiss army knives are everywhere. The chocolate is the BEST chocolate I’ve ever had. The bratwurst rivals that of Lambeau Field. The people are very healthy, happy and active too which isn’t suprising given all the sweet places to bike, hike, swim, run, walk, etc. Today was a journey up to the top of mount pilatus (elevation 7,000+feet) in the Swiss Alps. The views of lake lucerne and the other mountains were amazing. Here is some pics of that and a few other random things… Enjoy! Up next: Spain! More soon!

Crazy street sign.
I love China. It really is amazing. Here in the USA we are told different via the media. Trust me..CHINA RULES. This was one of the best trips ever. A HUGE thank you to Labici bike shop of Shanghai www.labici.com.cn and all the riders and distributors that carry DK in China. Here are 10 pics from the trip that make me smile. Hopefully you do the same.

China will tire you out. Even if you are on a moped.Â

This is street meat or BBQ as it’s known in Chinese. We ate this everyday and LOVED it. So good. Â Stick to the veggies and you know what you are eating. The meat is a bit of a gamble.

B Hunt checking out DK completes at one of our shop visits.Â

This was an every night occurrence. Nanjing street riding session at least 10 riders deep.

People in China do tricks without even realizing it!

Brian Hunt and I. Its hard to tell but there are a couple thousand people behind us. We were asked last minute to perform at a dance recital. We thought it might be for 50 people or so. We show up and it was like the super bowl. So many people. We had to ride on carpet but we made it work and the people we super stoked. Chinaz!

Brian carving the oververt at SMP.

The gang and a new friend who was really into the DK stickers.

I have wanted to do a wallride on glass my entire life. That dream came true in Shanghai.

Drew, Brian, and our friend. Getting sick on some big bikes at one of the factories.

Just a park in Shanghai. China knows how to make things look cool.

Our last night in Shanghai Drew found this set up. Thats a 20 foot drop onto a highway. You better believe he fired out some moves on the bicycle here. You will have to wait for the web edit to see what went down.
Hey guys, The past weekend I went to Prince Edward Island (P.E.I) for the first ever Fringe Urban Festival. It was a festival for youth that showcased art, music, skateboarding, bmx, skim boarding, fashion and dance. They had all sorts of activities from learning how to break dance to having a place to do graffiti. They had after parties for all ages. No one was left out. They hope to make this a yearly event and expand it with each year.Â
The event was highlighted on Canadian televison (CTV News). I got the opportunity to do demos, judge and give a TV interview on the event. Check out a couple photos from the weekend.Â

Chris has a rad interview up on ESPN. Check it out right here!
I know some scientists and meteorologists will argue with me but I think we BMXers in the midwest can officially declare it summertime when the BBQs start. The Etnies BBQ at Action Village headquarters last weekend was a great way to kick things off. I think everyone who visited Action Village that day walked or rode away with some free goodies. Sunglasses, hats, posters, hotdogs, shoes and to some lucky riders…a free frame!
One of my frames was given away and Allan Galves was the lucky winner of a new trans green beauty! Thanks to Maddog, Jeff K, Aaron Ross and everyone from the Wisconsin/Illinios area that came out and rode with us. Let the summer begin!

Brian, taking care of the fans.

Allan Galves…proud owner of a new BK Frame. Congrats!
Oeli from Germany sent in this video of him and his friend shredding their DK 24’s. Pretty rad! Check it:

Yo, what’s up guys! Just got home from an amazing trip to China with Catfish and B Hunt. It was my first time to China and I was not let down. It was awesome, Got to ride SMP, hang out, ride and experience the culture and even eat some of the wild food they eat down there. Flying home was pretty gnarly because your flying with the sun with the time zone change. 27 hours of sunlight! Felt like the longest day of my life ha ha. I’m home for a few weeks before heading over to America! Can’t wait. Went and cruised my local park yesterday and shoot some photos, check em out. Ridaz.
