Colombia ridaz!

Hey dudes, Drew and I packed our bags last week to go to Colombia but didnt really know what it was about. Community bmx and Idenex (identity extreme foundation) teamed up to bring us down here to ride and experience the Colombian bmx scene as well as ride in a dirt contest this upcoming weekend. So far it has been nothing but fun on and off the bike. When we drive around its like Ricky Bobby meets Travis Pastrana and it probably the best|scariest thing I have experienced in a while. High speed no rules people everywhere. The scene in Colombia is huge. We see more riders randomly than I have ever seen in any other city. One big misconception about Colombia is its really dangerous but all we have experienced is nothing but nice people and a great bmx scene. We showed up to a wall ride the other day and there were easily 60 riders under this bridge and I didnt believe it until I counted. The people over at Idenex set up a whole portable skate park just for us to come and ride with everyone in Bogota. Drew doesnt speak any spanish so he just lets his riding do the talking. It rains everyday but I think thats good because the one day it was sunny for a while Drew and I got really sunburned on our arms and faces. All the guys down here are taking such good care of us so I couldnt thank them more. We plan on traveling a bit out of the city and theres even talk of extending our stay. So many good spots and we havent even scratched the surface due to the rain. It has given us plenty of time to hang out with everyone and see the sights though so thats always awesome. Today we even swam in a sea of pigeons and ate delicious food. hopefully more soon! mi gusta colombia!

Hey Guys! This might be the shortest florida trip ever! but it was nice to catch some sun and ride with friends “french fries” crew from central france were in town, only 2.5 days but here’s a few words and pics:stopped in orlando for a day, of course the day after it rained a lot for the first time in months but casselberry was still cool to see…and since mesh is only open on weekends, we rode the vans park instead and then  headed to tampa. stopped in for a tour of profile racing, then hit up the skatepark of tampa which has a really fun bowl!!   last but not least about an hour ago just rode the “bro bowl” downtown tampa, and am at the airport headed back to hold it down at ray’s, where the indoor dirt room for summer is coming right along!!  i’ll keep you posted :)  nina B

Hey dudes, just spent a couple days down in florida hanging with some friends and enjoying the weather down there while it was good. it rained a couple times on us but its all good. i then went up to knoxville and went to ride the skatepark once again. snapped a couple shots and then went to the reason for even going over to the park. the last time i was there i really wanted to hit up and amazing kinked rail but there was a car parked at the bottom for some reason. this time the rail was dialed or so i thought. you see, im no brian kachinsky so i wouldnt even think to look at the rail or its condition. i usually just shake it to make sure its sturdy. i went to grind the rail for the first time and got completely sent to my back!!! the rail ended up being super rusty and as soon as i hit the flat i came to a dead stop. i did a front flip and went flying down the grass hill at least 15 feet from my bike. i ended up grabbing a rock a getting rid of the rust to make it work. i had no idea what i was in store for. the rail was still slow but i was psyched at the end. i cant wait to go back with mr. kachinsky and some wax. hope things are well. -brian
