Drew B update

Yo, What’s up everyone. Just a quick update. Just been chillin back home since Christmas. Keeping it pretty low key. Just been hanging with the family and the homies. Snowboarding lots and riding my indoor mini when it’s not to cold which doesn’t happen to often in Canada this time of year ha ha. Here are some photos when it wasn’t too cold. Hope all is well- Drew B

Brett Walker getting slippery

Brett has been busy grooming the infamous “Lonnies” trails. Owned by Lonnie Paxton of the New England Patriots. Not satisfied with having awesome trails. Brett and Mike Dies also made this:

6000 Miles!!!!!!

Hey dudes,  Its been 5 weeks and 6,000 miles later I’m back home. The trip to Austin was absolutely amazing. There is so much to ride there and the locals are awesome. We rode every single day except one due to rain. I want to thank all the locals and everyone who let us ride their trails/spot and a huge thanks to Stew Johnson for letting us stay so long at his place. We headed off to Tulsa to meet up with Miles Rogoish real quick then jetted off to Knoxville TN. There’s a sweet concrete park in Knoxville and tons of amazing street at the University of Tennessee. We mostly chilled out and cruised the park a bunch but on the way back to a friends house came across some really fun rails, which some riders I know would love to session for a while. Zak and I also went out the the great smokey mountains to explore a little and see some amazing sights. After that we had a quick stop at DK (a day late for the heavy hitters) and decided our last session had to be a banger so it was off to Rays MTB. Pretty much Disney Land for any bike rider. I think we rode until we couldnt move anymore and it was sooo good. That place is growing by the minute. I’m hanging in NH for now trying to fit in some more snowboarding and fun at Rye airfield. take care- Brian

This shop is PACKED with anything you’d need and they were even nice enough to let me borrow a DK bike bag to bring on the set of Fuel TV!

Nina went sledding for the first time on a toboggan! Seeing as how she does rad T-bogs anyway. We threw one in for good measure. Go Nina!

DK running it at the Buckeye Nationals

The DK RACE TEAM did it big this past weekend at the NBL Buckeye Nationals in Columbus, Oh. Almost the whole team was in attendance with A Pro Jason Jewell, AA Pro Josh Smith, 13x Jarred Johnson, and 14x Jeremy Smith all making the short trip to Ohio’s capital to do battle for the weekend. Saturday’s Elite Open main event saw Jason Jewell take the lead over in the last turn and hold it down for the big WIN. Unfortunately a crash put him on the sidelines for Sunday’s main. Josh Smith didn’t have the best of luck, taking home a 6th place finish for the weekend, but was stoked to see his brother, Jeremy Smith come off with a 3rd on saturday, then take the WIN from Damian Cherepko to make it a perfect day on Sunday. Last but not least was the youngest guy on the team. Jarred Johnson won every single lap on Saturday, and took a  2nd in Sunday’s Main. Check out some race video from this weekend.
