Hey Everyone! It’s been a couple weeks since we’ve been back from China and I think I speak for the group when I say we truly miss it and can’t wait to go back! It was such an amazing time, I don’t even know where to start. I guess the fitting way to start and finish would be to thank LaBici, Jack Lin and everyone involved with them who helped make this trip one of the best in my passport. If you have the chance to visit China, by all means go! Endless culture, food, architecture, tea, smiles, and of course tons of bikes. Enjoy the pics!Â

Vic Murphy and Aaron Johnson.

Â
Aaron Johnson has been busy out in SoCal getting back in shape after his crash a few months back. He’s been training, digging, and as you can see from the pics, killing it as always. Be on the lookout for AJ at a race near you this summer!

Wow things have been really popping off here at DK. The weather is awesome and our team is all over the place making moves. Brian Kachinsky, Brian Hunt, and me (Catfish) just got back from a wild trip to China. We rode in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Nanjing. We rode with a ton of amazing locals and got to see a ton of untapped riding terrain. A huge thank you goes out to Labici Bike shop in Shanghai for making this trip possible. Be on the lookout for a web video and upcoming magazine articles from the trip! Brett Walker has been busy doing shows up and down the California coast. He just put a new bike together and will be on a plane later this afternoon headed for the land of Oz. He’s going down to Australia for a Mosh trip and to compete in that wild Red Bull Half pipe contest. Have fun Brett! Anthony Watkinson sent this update in: “Just got back from catfish’s favorite place ‘france’ haha! and ive been chilling and having a awesome time riding with my friends at my local park! just enjoying being at home for a couple weeks before i head off again on a hectic schedule. Nass then Dewtour first stop and then Masters and then back to USA for 2nd stop of Dewtour in Cleveland.” Nina B has been busy as well. A couple weeks back Nina destroyed at her first mountain bike comp. She walked away with first place honors congrats. We ran into Nina this past weekend up at Ray’s Mountain Bike park for a jam. Shot some pics and hung out all day with DK’s first lady. Dane Beardsley is back in action after breaking both of his elbows late last year. Dane was out with us doing school shows in Ohio. He plans on hitting up a flatland contest in Cleveland this weekend. The little guy Brett “Maddog” Banasiewicz has been super busy too. He built some wild ramps in his backyard. He has also be dabbling on a 20 inch bike finally! Brett is stoked because school is almost out and he plans on instructing at Just Ride Skatepark this summer at their camp. Congrats to new DK recruit Andy Martinez on his interview in the newest issue of Dig. Props!

Props go out to Brian Kachinsky for getting the cover and interview in the most recent RideBMX. Great job Brian! DK rider Anthony Watkinson is riding the Fise contest over in Montpellier, France. He is making quite the impression over there. All I have to say is barspin to tailwhip air on a quarter pipe! Check it in the video here.

Kachinsky is amazing!
“Here are a few photos from my trip to Brazil! Wow, it was quite the adventure, from the riding to the beaches to having my own half hour show on ESPN primetime it was a pretty wild experience. The local riders were more enthusiastic about BMX than ANYWHERE else I have ever been in the world. Thanks to everyone who made this an awesome time!” Here are some pictures of Kachinsky in Brazil.
