Hey Everyone! My weekend was sort of bitter sweet as I made the trip up to Appleton for the last Saturday night Undercover session ever before they closed their doors on April 15th. This has been my go-to indoor skatepark every since they opened five years ago. My friend and owner Mark Hilson put a TON of time, money, effort and patience into keeping this park going and keeping the Appleton BMX scene thriving. This park can be seen in plenty of magazines like Ridebmx and BMX Plus as well as countless videos like System, Living in Exile, Grounded, L.E.T. 2, Props, Mutiny and many more.

It’s extremely sad to see the park go but on the upside it was an amazing last session. I can’t count how many tricks i’ve learned at this park and it was nice to look back on that and it was great to learn one more before the park closed. The place was packed with riders from Wisconsin and beyond until we finally called it quits around 3am! Thanks Mark for hundreds of great sessions and memories…

Just wanted to say a quick farewell before I head off to Brazil for the X-games. Prior to the games I will be doing a bit of site-seeing, hanging out and riding with We the People’s Dave Osato as well as some of the brazilian locals. The contest will be a street-like event with lots of ledges, rails, gaps, wedges, etc so it should be right up my alley. I’ll be back in two weeks with more pics and stories. All in all I think I have everything packed and ready but I better run down the list: bike (check) sandals (check) sunscreen (check) board shorts (check) passport (check) … am I forgetting anything? haha, see you soon!

It’s actually a mountain bike comp but she has been putting in some work on her DK Xenia at Rays Mountain Bike Park, so she’s ready for some fun. I was in Florida this weekend for a contest at the Vans skatepark in Orlando. Vans shoes brought in 4 BMX pros to put on a 2 day BMX camp for riders looking to up their skills. I helped out a bunch and taught some youngsters some stunts. There were a bunch of DK Franklins getting shredded on and this is one of them. This is Nathan. He rules. This picture screams BMX. Hey there. Well some of the Levis crew were in town for about a week filming for the new Levis DVD coming out at Interbike. Things went good, Some of the craziest things I have ever seen got done and all and all it was a good trip. I seemed to have had a streak of bad luck though throughout the week, it seemed everyday it was something, a rolled ankle to jammed fingers and just getting broke off all over but still managed to make the best of the trip and real happy with the footage I did manage to get filmed. Now Im just hanging at home resting up for the next week and then hitting the road with the Road Fools crew oh yeah. Its going to be sweet. C-ya. Brett
