lil update for everyone

First things first hope everyone has an awesome Easter!!!!! Well the last couple weeks have been real hectic. Our St. Patricks day JAM went on this with an amazing turnout. Everyone from Mike Aitken to Ryan Nyquist to tons of local groms showed up making it an amazing time.  Even though the weather was not cooperating with wind gusts in the 40s everyone still shredded and threw down some serious moves. It was nuts!  Check out the webvideo on Vital or BMXonline.  Pretty much all i have been doing is building and just getting the trails up to par for the JAM, Heath Pinter, Corey Bohan, Biz, Dave Dillewaard and myself spent the entire week before-patching lips and throwing dirt, the trails were dialed.  Im getting ready to go on a filming trip for the Levis DVD with Dakota Roche, Nathan Williams, Cory Martinez and Will Stroud. It should be amazing! Starting in SoCal then heading up to Arizona and finishing in New Mexico.  Cant wait!  Ill post some pics throughout the trip and let everyone know how things pan out. When i return from that trip i will be getting ready for Road Fools oh yeah i said it road fools haha i cant believe im actually going on a road fools. Good thing is GRANDPA (Catfish) himself will be going along with me so you know its going to be nothing but good times.  Well have a great week and Ill check back soon.

Hey there Neighbors! Just got back from a trip out to Kansas City to do shows for Maximum Velocity. The shows went awesome but the street riding in KC was insane. We found a playground in the ghetto and it was one of the coolest things to rider ever, except for the fact that we had to dodge a ton of little kids to get to it. Here are a couple pics. Greetings from the great state of Arizona! I’ve been in Tucson the past couple days and it’s crazy. There’s a ton of good street here, i’ve been riding and shown around by Jerome and Jake, two guys who used to live in Madison, Wisconsin and moved out here to escape the cold (I can’t say I blame them). Between the ditches, rails, ledges, hips and cactus…there’s a ton to shred out here (I would advise against riding a cactus though, I went through 3 tubes before I realized it was a bad idea). Here’s a couple photos, most of which were taken using the self-timer and a tripod, including the riding shot! It took me a few tries to get the timing right. Enjoy. Congrats to Team DK on an impressive performance at the Toronto BMX Jam this past weekend. Every DK rider made finals. Nina Buitrago walked away with 1st place honors in the womens class. Nina doubled pegged the hitching post, did nothing transfers, and barspun from the spine to the wedge. She ruled it. Anthony Watkinson finished in 6th, Chris Childs took 9th. A get well soon message goes out to Charlie Bowers who qualified in 5th place but couldn’t ride finals due to a bum leg. Brian Hunt was also in attendance but the Toronto flu bug bit him hard and he couldn’t ride all weekend. Get well soon to both of them!
