DANE BEARDSLEY SOLO TRIP UPDATE
Pro Flatland rider, teacher, situational vegetarian, and jack of all, Dane Beardsley is on a trip across America. Stopping at parks, bike shops, and random tennis courts everwhere.
"Here are some photos from my journey across America thus far. I've already done so much and meet so many new people I can't really believe that I have 5 more weeks of this. Driving across the planes is always something I enjoy. It's amazing how big America really is. Spent some time in a small town in the panhandle of Oklahoma. Meet some interesting people while riding flatland in a public park, and hey told me the panhandle of Oklahoma is nicknamed No Man's Land. The area is very thinly populated with cattle ranchers and wheat fields.
Made my way up to Colorado Springs and then Denver for a stop at Joe's Bike Shop in Lafayette, Colorado. There was a good turn out and everyone was busting some moves in the parking lot right in front of the shop. A lucky family went home with a brand new DK Opsis. Joe's is a great shop with a ton of BMX stuff. Meet up with my old college roommate Ted Van Orman. We are working on some getting some good photos while I'm staying at his place in Denver. Also meet up with Nina in Colorado Springs and then again at the Denver park. Fun times on the road with lots more to come! " -Dane Beardsley
